Rosetta doesn't handle Fetch Art properly so I need to create a native Intel version of Fetch Art. That's been difficult without owning an Intel Mac.

If you don't have an Intel Mac which would explain your errors, I can possibly help you debug your problems further but I'd need some more information. You can email me at aric@aric.org.Arichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06349808589965033115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12079827.post-1157153505720219592006-09-01T16:31:00.000-07:002006-09-01T16:31:00.000-07:00Howdy Aric, I've been trying to get Fetch Art to w...Howdy Aric, I've been trying to get Fetch Art to work, but continue to have the Perl error (and yes, I manually installed the application and script files after the normal install failed).

Anything else I can try? The interface between Perl and AppleScript the way it is implemented in this application currently drops unicode (extended) characters. This is the case for many European song names that use accents etc. I do plan on addressing this issue in a future version, although Intel Mac compatibility is my primary concern right now.Arichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06349808589965033115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12079827.post-1153508760373013462006-07-21T12:06:00.000-07:002006-07-21T12:06:00.000-07:00I get the following error with Fetch Art 1.2 on a ...I get the following error with Fetch Art 1.2 on a recent 15" PowerBook G4:

Applescript Error
Can't locate LWP/Simple.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /System/Library/Perl/5.8.6/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/5.8.6 /Library/Perl/5.8.6/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Library/Perl/5.8.6 /Library/Perl /Network/Library/Perl/5.8.6/darwin-thread-multi-2level /Network/Library/Perl/5.8.6 /Network/Library/Perl /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.8.6/darwin-thread-multi-2level /System/Library/Perl/Extras/5.8.6 /Library/Perl/5.8.1 .) at /Applications/Fetch Art.app//Contents/Resources/fetchart.pl line 15.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /Applications/Fetch Art.app//Contents/Resources/fetchart.pl line 15.
